Yes. The five daily stories are 100% free, forever. If you want extras like saving favourites, reading curated classics (Alice, Peter Pan, Pooh), browsing history, immersive in-story sounds or post-reading colouring, there's an optional LumiTales Premium with a 7-day trial.

How does the personalisation work?

When you create your child's profile (name, age, gender), the stories weave the name and pronouns through every page with correct grammar, even in Russian, Polish or Arabic where agreement is non-trivial.

Which languages are supported?

22 native languages: English, Spanish, Catalan, Valencian, Basque, Galician, Portuguese, French, Italian, German, Dutch, Swedish, Polish, Turkish, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic, Hindi, Indonesian, Vietnamese. Stories are rewritten in each language, not word-for-word translated.

What ages is LumiTales for?

Stories are tuned for three age bands: 2 to 4, 4 to 6, and 6 plus. The 6 plus tier includes longer adventure stories with multiple chapters.

Is it safe for children?

Yes. No ads, no chat, no third-party trackers. The app is designed for ages 2 to 9 and complies with COPPA and GDPR-K. Every story is edited by a person before publication and runs through cultural-conflict filters per locale.

Does it work offline?

Once a story is downloaded, the full experience including text, illustrations and audio works on a plane, in a car, anywhere without signal.

Is there a dyslexia-friendly mode?

Yes. Typography, contrast and line spacing are tuned for dyslexic readers. Text size is adjustable and a high-contrast mode is built in.
